Principal of Calabar High Albert Corcho has hit back at ISSA president Dr Walton Small regarding claims that Calabar High were beneficiaries of the extenuating circumstances factor which was considered in the controversial Ari Rodgers champs eligibility case.
Speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Sports Explosion on Friday, Mr Corcho challenged Dr Small to provide proof of his claim and sought to clear the air on Calabar's run-in with ISSA in the past as it pertains to the’Champs’ brata registration system.
Mr Corcho also revealed that issues were discussed at an ISSA executive meeting on Thursday but noted that Dr Small walked out of the meeting.
He also questioned Dr Small's claim at Thursday's ‘Champs’ launch in Kingston that he being a member of the executive, could have gotten the details of ISSA’s ruling without the recent uproar .
“Can you imagine Mr Corcho as an executive member going into ISSA and taking out the information to share it with the public? I would ask the leadership of ISSA to impeach me,” said Corcho.
