Cameron expects good performances from his athletes in Rio

Bert Cameron, the coach of Jamaica's two IAAF World Under-20 champions says he is ecstatic at their achievement in Poland and hopes his senior athletes can follow suit at the Olympic Games in Rio.

Cameron is the head coach of Cameron Blazers Track Club which conditions Jamaica's only two 2016 World Under-20 champions Tiffany James and Jaheel Hyde.

The 1983 World 400 metres champion has been hampered by a broken leg since November 2015 but it doesn’t seem that has stopped him from remaining dedicated to his task.

Cameron says he has had some extra motivation to get his charges in tip top shape. He has just returned from a training camp in England where he says things went well.

Now he expects good performances from Hyde, Javere Bell, Christine Day and Kaliese Spencer, his four athletes in Rio.
