Champions Portmore United held by Waterhouse in RSPL

Defending champions Portmore United were held to a 2-2 draw by Waterhouse in their Red Stripe Premier League match on Thursday. Portmore actually went in front through Roshane Sharpe in the 3rd minute before   Waterhouse equalised through Ricardo Thomas in the 33rd minute. Rosario Harriott restored Portmore's lead in the 70th but Nicholay Findlayson ensured Waterhouse got a share of the points with an 88th minute strike.  

The result meant win Portmore stayed 3rd on 15 points, while Waterhouse moved one place up to 9th. Elsewhere on the day, UWI beat hosts Montego Bay United 3-1 at Wespow Park to move up to 4th on 14 points. Arnett Gardens moved up to 14 points after securing maximum points with a 3-1 win over Dunbeholden at the Spanish Town Prison Oval

Fabian Reid scored a double netting in the 20th minute 80th minutes  for the ‘Junglists’. With the win, Arnett Gardens moved two  places up to fifth.
