The imperious Christopher "The Big Hurt" Gayle
Chris Gayle's Lions and Kieron Pollard's Cape Cobras both recorded victories as action in the Ram Slam T20 Challenge bowled off in South Africa.
Gayle's team defeated the Dolphins by 6 wickets.
The Dolphins batted first and made 172 with Gayle bagging 4 for 36. Gayle then blasted 56 from 38 balls to help the lions to a comfortable win.
In the day's other match Pollard hit an unbeaten 72 and took 3 for 22 to help the Cobras beat Darren Sammy's Titans by 14 runs.
