Unseeded national representative Dennis Coke took the major scalp of many-time champion Gareth Henry in the quarter-finals en route to winning the men's title at the All-Jamaica Senior and Masters Badminton Championship on the weekend.
Coke, who lost the first set in the final to Samuel Ricketts 15-21, won the next two sets 21-17 and 21-15 to take the title.
Coke also teamed with Anthony McNee to win the men's doubles in three sets over Kirk Francis and Garron Palmer.
There was no such upset on the women's side, as Kathrine Wynter turned back the challenge of youngster Alana Bailey 21-15, 21-8 to secure her third straight lien on the crown.
Wynter also won the women's double title along with Mikaylia Haldene over Taina Daley and Shezelle McTyson in three sets.
