'Concrete' cements his place in Contender Series semis

The 41 year old Moncriffe went on the attack early in the first round with some powerful jabs, forcing the canadian out of his game plan. Moncriffe stepped up the tempo in the second round; cutting off the ring against El Sinawi while producing some telling overhead shots, which forced the Canadian to defend.

With the spectators cheering on Moncriffe, the Jamaican delivered on their wish in the fourth round. Moncriffee's sixth career knock out win, which extended his win record to 14 from 23 fights, came after 2 minutes and 50 seconds. El Sinawi revealed that some shots from Moncriffe hurt his hands early and affected his performance. Moncrieffe is now the first Jamaican into the semi-finals.
