Cornwall impressive in D/Cup opener

Defending DaCosta cup champions Cornwall College made a winning start to their 2018 campaign with a 4-1 spanking of Green Pond at the Montego Bay Sports Complex on Saturday. Meanwhile, 2014 champions Clarendon College ran riot at Chapleton, swamping Claude McKay 15-0 in action from Zone ‘H’.

Elsewhere, Dinthill Technical beat McGrath High 6-0 l, Manchester High spanked May Day 7-0; Spalding High clipped Christiana 1-0 while there was a goalless draw between Knox and Holmwood. Oracabessa and S Mary Technical beat Carron Hall and St Mary High 2-0 respectively; Sseaforth got by Yallahs High 3-0

FairPprospect clipped Happy Grove 1-0 , Titchfield edged Horace Clarke 2-1 while Paul Bogle and Morant Bay played to 2-2 draw.

Steer Town nipped Marcus Garvey 2-1 while Ocho Rios and Old Harbour recorded 2-0 victories over York Castle and Kemps Hill respectivley. Vere Technical outscored Bustamante 4-1.
