Cornwall spins Windies to opening day honours against Afghanistan

Jamaican John Campbell will continue his hunt for his first test half-century when play resumes on day two of the one-off test between the West Indies and Afghanistan in Lucknow, India at 11 o clock Wednesday night Jamaica time. Campbell was unbeaten on 30 and Shamarah Brooks 19 when play ended on the opening day with the Caribbean side on  68-2, trailing by 119 runs in the  first innings.

Kraig Brathwaite 11 and Shai Hope 7, are the wickets to fall so far. Earlier, Rhakeem Cornwall in his second match, bagged career-beat figures of 7-75 as Afghanistan were bowled out for 187. Javed Amadi top-scored for Afghanistan  with 39. West Indies captain Jason Holder also had 2-22.
