Crocs to open North Sevens Championship campaign in Barbados

Jamaica's national rugby sevens team will open their account in the North Sevens Championship in Barbados later this month against the British Virgin Islands at the Polo Club. The Crocs will also take on the Dominican Republic on the same day as they hunt a top two spot to get to the quarter-finals of the tournament.

A top two finish for the Jamaicans would not only secure their first ever appearance to the Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru next year, but it will also confirm Jamaica's spot in the Hong Kong Sevens Tournament for the third year in a row. Earlier this year, the Crocs made their first appearances in the Commonwealth Games and the Rugby Sevens World Cup. The RAN Sevens is slated to run from September 22-23.
