CWI boss bemoans suspension of skipper for final test against England

Cricket West Indies president Dave Cameron says the International Cricket Council (ICC) should review its policy of suspending captains for slow over rates. Speaking in the wake of Jason Holder's suspension for the third test against England, Cameron said the ban on the Windies skipper will only overshadow the series.

Holder was handed a one-match suspension by the ICC following the Windies ten-wicket victory over England in Antigua last week, after it was deemed that the Windies had been two overs short of fulfilling their quota, after time allowances were taken into consideration.

Holder did not appeal the ban. Cameron though while saying the board will abide by the ICC ruling, did however question if such punitive action at a pivotal stage of the series is good for cricket.
