Daley replaced as Sunshine Girls assistant coach

Annette Daley is no longer the national assistant senior team netball coach. That's the word from President of Netball Jamaica Dr Paula Daley-Morris.

The Netball Jamaica boss said they parted company with Daley on Monday, May 16, because the veteran coach was unavailable to travel with the national team on a regular basis.

Dr Daley-Morris told RJR Sports online that former national player Sasher-Gaye Henry, who represented Jamaica in 75 test matches, has been appointed the new national assistant coach at least until the end of the year.

Henry, who played wing-attack and wing-defence and first represented Jamaica in 1996, has played in three World Championships for the Sunshine Girls. She retired last August after helping the Sunshine Girls to fourth at the Netball World Cup in Sydney, Australia.
