Dunrobin creates mild upset in Overnight Allowance contest

8 -1 shot Dunrobin created a mild upset in the Overnight Allowance contest going over 5-and-a-half furlongs at Caymanas Park on Saturday. Despite an early battle  with Eye Candy heading into the turn for home, the 7 year old bay gelding ridden by 5-time former champion jockey Trevor Simpson for trainer Owen Sharpe, won the duel.

Dunrobin won by one and a quarter lengths in one-minute-six and two fifths of a second. Simpson along with apprentice Anthony Allen and trainer Ian Parsard each had a double on the 9-race card. Racing continues next Saturday.
