The governing body of world football, FIFA has given clearance to the Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) to place 26 year old midfielder Havana Solaun in the Reggae Girlz's World Cup squad. Solaun who plays with Klepp in the Norwegian top flight, previously played with the United States at Under-17 and Under-23 levels and needed clearance before being able to represent Jamaica in a FIFA event.
Solaun who made her debut against Chile in March, will be the 23rd and final member of Jamaica's squad heading to France. The full squad reads: Sydney Schneider, Nicole McClure, Yazmeen Jamieson, Lauren Silver, Dominique Bond Flasza, Konya Plummer, Deneisha Blackwood, Toriana Patterson, Allyson Swaby, Chanel Hudson-Marks, Chinyelu Asher, Marlo Sweatman, Sashana Campbell, Chantelle Swaby, Ashleigh Shim, Khadija Shaw, Trudi Carter, Jody Brown, Sade Adamolekun, Tiffany Cameron, Cheyna Matthews, Kayla McCoy and Havana Solaun. The last warm-up game for the team prior to the World Cup will be against Scotland on May 28 at Hampden Park.
