Warner says he did nothing wrong
Former FIFA vice-president Jack Warner has denied any wrongdoing in relation to funds donated for earthquake-hit Haiti.
The Trinidad and Tobago's Football Federation (TTFF) said Warner controlled a bank account in its name that was set to receive $US750,000 pledged by FIFA and South Korean football leader Chung Mong-joon toward football rebuilding projects.
Haitian officials have reportedly said they received only a small portion of the money. FIFA has reportedly frozen all funding to Trinidad and Tobago until it gets answers.
TTFF claim its unable to confirm the quantum of funds received, as the money did not go into the account used by the TTFF administration for its day-to-day operations, but instead to the TTFF's LOC (local organising committee) account as was requested by Mr Warner.
FIFA is reportedly withholding Warner's pension – reportedly worth £30,000 a year .
Mr. Warner reportedly suggested on Trinidadian television that the allegations were a conspiracy.
Mr Warner resigned from football last year after being accused of bribery.
