Former Executive Director loses another court battle against JADCO

The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO), will now be moving full speed ahead to find a new Executive Director. The Court of Appeal has dismissed former Executive Director Carey Brown's application for leave to appeal the decision of High Court judge Kirk Anderson to deny him permission to challenge his sacking.
Brown, had taken JADCO to court in an effort to be reinstated after he was sacked in September over what the board said was a loss of confidence in him and anti-doping breaches under his watch. In December, the Supreme Court dismissed Brown's case brought against the board of directors of JADCO and therefore treated him as being dismissed as of October 11. Brown was appointed Executive Director of JADCO in October 2013.
