Former Sunshine Girl to run for VP post at Netball Jamaica AGM

Former Sunshine girls captain Simone Forbes has once again positioned herself in the running for a spot on the board of Netball Jamaica when their Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held at the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) headquarters on Saturday. Forbes will be running for the first vice president post and will oppose the incumbent Tricia Robinson. In 2017 Forbes lost out in her bid for the post of 2nd vice- president and director.

Meanwhile, Shawn Murdock, assistant coach of Berger Elite team, the St Ann Orchids will bid for one of the four positions as director. Voting will also be done for the post of treasurer but the position of president will not be up for election.
