Four local footballers including discarded national player Jorginho james have been selected for the third MLS sponsored Caribbean Football Union Combine to be held in St Kitts.
James who plies his trade for Harbour View is joined by UWI goalkeeper Amal Knight, and the Cavalier pair of Chevaughn Marsh and Ryan Miller.
The Combine will be held in St Kitts from December 13-16; Curacao from December 17-20 and Martinique, January 1-4.
The 24 invited players from across the Caribbean are vying to be among those selected to attend the MLS combine from January 8-13 in South Florida.
The four Jamaicans will join players from Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Montserrat, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos and US Virgin Islands. The increase in venues has led to more players getting the opportunity to be seen by professional scouts.
Under the expanded arrangement, member associations are responsible for airfare while the MLS will absorb all other costs.
