Fowler-Reid to lead Sunshine Girls at Commonwealth Games

World-rated goal shooter and captain Jhaniele Fowler-Reid heads the list for Netball Jamaica's 12-member squad for next month's Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. The shooting circle duties will be led by Fowler-Reid with , Romelda  Aiken, Shanice Beckford and Rebekah Robinson also in that department.

Meanwhile, Fast Five Series MVP Vangelee Williams,will be assisted by fellow defenders Stacian Facey, Shamera Sterling and late invitee Jodi-Ann Ward who has replaced the injured Malysha Kelly. The centre-court will be handled by Paula Thompson, Khadijah Williams, Adean Thomas and Nicole Dixon. The team will depart the island on March 17 for Auckland, New Zealand for a pre-Commonwealth quad series camp.

Jamaica is drawn in Pool "A" of the Commonwealth Games netball competition with host nation Australia, South Africa, Barbados, Fiji and Northern Ireland.
