Reigning World and Olympic 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is among the global stars confirmed for the 13th staging of the Jamaica International Invitational meet, set for Saturday, May 7 at the National Stadium.
Fraser-Pryce’s MVP training partner Elaine Thompson who burst onto the international scene last year, has also been signed by the organizers in addition to compatriots Rasheed Dwyer and Rusheen McDonald.
Americans Mike Rogers and Candyce McGrone have also been confirmed for the meet.
The organizers are currently in negotiation with several other world-rated stars for them to make appearances at the IAAF Area Permit Meet.
