The "Blues" Chelsea, who lost 1-3 in the first leg quarter-final in France against Paris St. Germain, battled to a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday to progress on the away goal rule.

Meanwhile, Real Madrid escaped into the last four although they were beaten 2-nil by Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, as last week's first leg 3-0 win by Madrid proved decisive.
The other two semi-finalists are to be decided on Wednesday when title holders Bayern Munich entertains Manchester United following their first leg 1-1 draw. Hosts Atletico Madrid will be looking to eliminate their more fancied opponents Barcelona, after their 1-1 first leg draw.
