Holder happy with current crop of players

Voice of West Indies captain Jason Holder

West Indies captain Jason Holder says he is happy with the current crop of players and only sees one or two senior players who could possibly come into the current side.

The Windies currently have an inexperienced test eleven, with Kraigg Brathwaite and Kemar Roach with 40 test matches apiece the most senior players in the team. But Holder says he is happy with the unit that he currently leads.

“I think we’ve got the best of the lot now. Obviously Darren (Bravo) is a guy that has done well for us in the recent past but we have to play with what we have. Apart from Darren, I don’t think there is anybody-else who is interested in playing test cricket that we can call upon on or the so called big names people are looking for. Chris (Gayle) has hinted that he would like to play if he’s fit enough. Apart from those two players I don’t think there’s anybody-else we can look to,” said Holder.
