Holmwood maintain dominant run in Champion of Champions netball tournament

Holmwood Technical had another commanding performance in the 2018 AFNA Champion of Champions High School Netball Tournament, beating Trinidad and Tobago's Scarborough Secondary  44-19 at the Leila Robinson Courts on Wednesday. With the win, Holmwood Technical are now 3 wins from as many games.

Shadine Bartley was almost perfect under the rim with 23 goals from 24 attempts. Bartley, was assisted by Alliah Lue with 17 goals from 21 attempts. In other matches on the day, Barbados’ Springer Memorial had a 43-29 win over St Lucia's Soufriere Secondary. Goal Attack Jade Smith led the way for Springer Memorial with 34 goals from 51 attempts while Goal Shooter Tricia Phillips had 9 from 14. Soufriere Under-16 national representative Megan Nester was good with 25 goals from 43 attempts.

Meanwhile, Barbados's Christchurch Foundation recorded their second win to dismiss Dominica State College 44-16 in their encounter. Chiara Chase was good inside the goal circle with 17 goals from 21 attempts. Action continues on Thursday at the Leila Robinson Courts starting at 3:00 pm.
