Holy Trinity blank Clan Carthy in Manning Cup

Last season's ISSA Flow Manning Cup semi-finalist Holy Trinity blanked Clan Carthy 3-0 in their cross-town derby on Wednesday at the Bell/Chung Oval. Dillion Ennis opened the scoring for Holy Trinity in the 29th before teammate Phillion Lawerence doubled the scoreline in the 32nd. Dillon completed his double in the second half. Holy Trinity finished atop of group on 28 points, 10 more than Clan Carthy.

Meanwhile, Hydel took Group ‘C’ honours after defeating Camperdown 2-1 in their contest at Alpha. Romario Bryan opened the scoring for Hydel as early as the 4th minute. That advantage was doubled in minute 28 by Troy McKay who was netting his 6th goal of the season.

Camperdown were down to 10 men when Tyreke Simms was red-carded in minute 79 but Keemo Clarke managed to snatch a consolation for the home side just before the final whistle.
