Female jockey doing well after back surgery
Jamaica's most successful female jockey Georgina Sergeon could be out of hospital sooner than expected after undergoing back surgery at the University Hospital of the West Indies on Wednesday morning.
She had suffered two broken vertebrae, following a fall while racing at Caymanas Park on Saturday.
Her agent Donovan Wilson says she is recovering quicker than initially anticipated.
