India 'A' wrapped up a 4-1 50 over series win over the West Indies 'A' after their 8 wicket victory over the hosts on Sunday at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua. Batting first, the Caribbean men posted 236 all out with Sherfane Rutherford 65 and Sunil Ambris 61, being the top scorers.
Khary Pierre also scored 35 while Kjorn Ottley made 21 against Deepak Chahar, Navdeep Saini and Rahul Chahar who all ended with two wickets apiece.
In reply, Ruturaj Gaikwad 99, Shubman Gill 69 and Shreyas Iyer 61 not out, combined to take India 'A' to victory at 237-2. Keemo Paul and Rahkeem Cornwall were the Windies 'A' wicket-takers.
The teams will now turn their attention to the three match unofficial test series which starts on Wednesday at the Sir Vivian Richards Ground.
