India's pacer Kumar slices through Kiwis batting in 2nd test

India wicketkeeper/batsman Wriddhiman Saha and fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar played vital roles on Saturday's 2nd day of the 2nd test against New Zealand in Kolkata.

India, resumed on 239-7, but crafted an additional 77 runs through wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha who hit an unbeaten 54 to push India to 316 all out, a lot more than skipper Virat Kohli would have anticipated for sure.

Matt Henry finished with 3-46 while there were two wickets each for Trent Boult, Neil Wagner and Jeetan Patel.

When New Zealand replied, fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed 5-53 to reduce the Kiwis to 128-7, leaving them trailing by 188 runs. Ross Taylor 36 and Luke Ronchi 35 have so far led the scoring.
