Many time champions Cornwall College turned back Green Pond 2 nil in their Zone 'A' top of the table clash in the ISSA lime DaCosta Cup competition on Wednesday.
With the win, Cornwall College who have already qualified for the interzone round moved to maximum 21 points atop Zone 'A' .
Defending champions St Elizabeth Technical continued their march into the interzone round with 2nil win over second placed Lacovia High.
Munro College outscored Maggotty High 3-2 while Holmwood Technical extended their lead atop Group G after clipping Knox College 1nil. Spalding and Christiana High played out a 3-3 draw.
Pre-tournament favourites Clarendon College chalked up their 7th straight win after blanking Claude McKay 2-0.
Meanwhile Group B leaders Charlie Smith High dismissed Cumberland 2-nil in a rescheduled Manning Cup match.
The victory pushed them to a comfortable 9 points above Excelsior.
