ISSA president clarifies responsibility for Super Cup

Voice of ISSA president Dr Walton Small

ISSA president Dr Walton Small has sought to clarify which body has over-arching responsibility over the Flow Super Cup competition. The issue once again come about following confirmation by ISSA that there will be a disciplinary hearing for members of the Jamaica College technical staff following an incident in their Flow Super Cup semi-final against Kingston College.

But while ISSA’s Competitions Officer George Forbes seemed unclear over whose responisibility it was, when he spoke with RJR Sports on Monday. However, ISSA’s president Dr Wwalton Small says while the responsibilities are split.

“All the footballing competitions fall under ISSA, ISSA runs these competitions. However, the contractual arrangement we have with FLOW as it relates to the Super Cup is that they have responsibility for the execution. If there are disciplinary issues, ISSA will address those,” said Dr Small.
