JAAA gives ultimatum to athletes

RJR Sports understands that the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA), has issued an ultimatum to athletes who have not yet collected the money made available to them under the government assistance programme.

It’ understood that the JAAA has written to athletes asking them to collect the money by Monday, January 25 or risk losing it.

Last December, RJR Sports revealed that athletes from the MVP Track Club had not been taking the advantage of the US $500 a month made available to them through a partnership between the government and the JAAA.
