Chairman of the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCO) board Alexander Williams has confirmed that Executive Director Carey Brown had been fired, mainly over procedural breaches. This comes after Brown turned down the chance to resign last week.
Brown has been the Executive Director of JADCO since October 2013.
