Jamaica battling for placement position at World Squash Champs

Jamaica's squash team will face Argentina in the placement stage of the World Team Squash Championship in Marseille, France on Friday. After missing out on a spot in the round of 16 of the competition, the Jamaicans are battling for places for 17th to 24th positions.

If Jamaica defeat the 18th seed Argentina, then they will face the winner of the Iraq and Republic of Ireland encounter. Jamaica went down 3-0 to Germany and Scotland in the group stages. This is Jamaica's first appearance in a world squash tournament.
