The Titans got the 135 runs, with four balls remaining. Shamar Thomas led the scoring with 34, with chief supporter, Tamar Lambert contributing 29 against Brian Buchanan's 3-36.

Sports Tourism Centre

The match took place immediately after the official opening of a new pavilion at the Sports Park, named the Donald Buchanan Sports Tourism Centre, in honour the late Donald Buchanan, former MP for South West St. Elizabeth; the constituency in which the park is situated.

It was as Minister of Water & Housing that Donald Buchanan initiated the purchase of the property by the Ministry and leased it to the community based group, BREDS to develop the sports park.

P.J. Patterson, a former Prime Minister of Jamaica, himself a keen cricket fan, was the guest speaker for the occasion. He fully endorsed the development of the facility and the concept of sports tourism.
