Jamaica records third victory at World Lacrosse Championship

Jamaica have picked up their third win in a row in the World Lacrosse Championship after defeating Slovakia 12-5 in Israel in the intermediate round on Monday. Bakeem Lecky led the way for the Jamaicans with 7 goals. Jamaica will next be in action on Tuesday when they face either Greece or Argentina.

So far, Jamaica has registered wins over Russia, Peru and now Slovakia. Despite missing out on topping the group after losing to Israel 11-3 in their opening game, Jamaica is still in the running  to finish 9th in the competition.

A top 15 finish for Jamaica would automatically seal qualification to the 2022 World Lacrosse Championship in Canada.
