Jamaica wraps up participation in Davis Cup qualifying

Jamaica wrapped up their participation in this year's Davis Cup tennis tournament on a good note, following a 2-1 win over Antigua and Barbuda on Friday.

Jacob Bicknell first recorded a straight sets win over Cordell Williams 6-1, 6-0, before Rowland Phillips lost to Jody Maginley 5-7, 6-2, 5-7.

The Jamaican pair then got by Maginley and Carlton Bedminster in straight sets 7-5, 7-6 for their second win of the campaign.

The Jamaicans had a 3-0 win over Bermuda on the opening day of competition before going down to Puerto Rico by a similar margin. They then lost 2-1 to Honduras on Thursday.
