Jamaican-based athletes selected on Team GB for World Champs

Racers Track Club sprinter Zharnel Hughes has been included in Great Britain's 78 member squad for the IAAF World Championships in London.

Hughes who finished third at the uk trials earlier this month in 20.42, was chosen for the men's 200 metres ahead of reigning European champion and Olympic finalist Adam Gemili. The former Kingston College athlete has a personal best of 20.02 over the 200 metres. He was also selected to be a part of Great Britian's 4x100 metre relay pool.

Meanwhile, the men's 4x400 team will include another Racers athlete, Delano Williams. Double world champion Mo Farah will defend his 5,000m and 10,000m titles at the championships.
