Jamaica's medal tally at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles, California, currently stands at 33 after securing six medals including three gold on Saturday.
In track and field, Othneil Nicholas took gold in the men's division 11 1500 metres while the women's 4x100 metre relay team also secured gold in the division one competition. The men's 4x100m relay team took bronze in division 8.
In Bocce, Jamaica secured gold and a bronze in the doubles competitions, while in Basketball the men's team secured silver in the m1 division.
In volleyball, the women's team ended 5th in division f1 competition.
