Jamaica's opponents named for Rugby Sevens Challenger Series

Jamaica's rugby sevens team has been drawn in Group "B" of the inaugural World Rugby Sevens Challenger Series and will face Hong Kong, Papua New Guinea and Colombia. The Challenger Series is a newly introduced competition for tier 2 rugby playing nations. The first leg of the series will kick off on February 15 in Vina del Mar, Chile.

Jamaica was promoted as a tier 2 nation by the governing body World Rugby after impressing at the Pan American Games and the Americas Championship last year. The second leg of the series will be on Febuary 22 in Montivideo, Uruguay. The intercontinental playoffs for the Olympic Games will be held in France in June.
