Jamaica's women lead group standing at CAC Games hockey qualifiers

Jamaica's female hockey team played to a goalless draw with second place Guyana on Wednesday in round three of the CAC Games qualifiers being held at the Mona Hockey Field in Kingston. Despite the 0-0 draw, the Jamaican women remained atop the group, moving to 7 points, the same as Guatemala, but are ahead on goal difference. 

In other matches on Wednesday, Bermuda and Puerto Rico recorded 4-0 wins over Panama and Guatemala respectively. The Jamaican women will play their Puerto Rican counterparts on Thursday. Jamaica’s men's team will be back in action on Thursday when they take on Guatemala. They lead the table with 6 points after 2 matches. 

In the men's matches on Wednesday, second placed Guyana beat Guatemala 4-0 and Puerto Rico defeated Panama 5-2.
