Jamaica College consolidated their position atop Group 'E' in the ISSA Manning Cup following their 2-2 draw with Wolmer's Boys' at the Stadium East Field on Wednesday. It was the continuation of the previously aborted encounter which was affected by lightning with just 6 minutes left in the contest.
Wolmer's were leading 2-1 at the time. The result now means Jamaica College have 29 points atop Group 'E' with Wolmer's second on 27.
Meanwhile, the remaining minutes of the match between Kingston College and Pembroke Hall was not played as Pembroke Hall didn't show up. Kingston College were leading 7-0.
Elsewhere, Hydel beat Edith Dalton James 2-0, Charlie Smith had a 2-0 win over Donald Quarrie, St Catherine beat Penwood 3-0, Haile Selassie and Cumberland ended 0-0, Calabar beat Campion College 2-0 while St George’s College had a 3-1 win over Norman Manley. The competition continues on Friday.
