For the next three months, 13 parish teams will play across the country in an All-Island Under-18 elite league, a competition for the nation's top youth footballers.
Each parish team will have 25 players with at least 20 being 18 and under and a maximum of five being between the ages of 18 and 20.
General Secretary of the JFF, Raymond Grant, says this was done to provide competition for players who have just finished their schoolboy season.
The KSAFA All stars have been in training over a period of time but coach Miguel Coley says they will not be including the big names from the schoolboy competition as those players are already with a club.
The winner of the competition will pocket $500,000, while the runner- up will get $200,000 with $100,000 each going to the losing semi-finalists. The competition is set to kick off on Saturday.
