JFF Youth Committee head underlines need for philosophy

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Daniel Blake

New JFF Youth Committee chairman Andre Virtue believes it's time to introduce a national football philosophy but he will need the help of the coaches and administrators. Jamaica’s football has been criticized in some circles for lacking a particular style of play.

Virtue says while individual coaches will have their unique differences, there must be an element which anchors Jamaica when the national teams are playing. Virtue added that only coaches who are properly equipped will be chosen to lead the future stars. He was speaking on Hitz 92 FM's Sports Grill recently.
