Joseph stars with the bat for Worcestershire

West Indies pacer Alzarri Joseph made 61 to help Worcestershire secure a sizeable advantage at stumps on day 2 of their match against Nottinghamshire in the English County Championship.

Joseph who had resumed on 46, added a further 15 runs as Worcestershire got strong contributions from their tail including 84 from Joe Leach to post 436 batting first. Liam Patterson-White took 4-114 for Nottinghamshire.

Joseph has so far gone wicketless from his 10 overs for just 19 runs, as Nottinghamshire closed on 99 without loss to trail by 337 runs.

West Indies test captain Kraigg Brathwaite also made 60 on Friday for Gloucestershire as they got to 114-2 in reply to 470 from Hampshire. Brathwaite had also bowled 4 overs when Hampshire batted and went wicketless for 16 runs.
