KC wins David Hunt Memorial Cup

Reigning Walker Cup champions Kingston College are the holders of the 2017 David 'Wagga' Hunt Memorial Cup after stopping Calabar High 1-0 on Saturday.

The game which was evenly contested, was decided in the 80th minute by Rajiv Gavin who headed home from close range.

The annual David ‘Wagga’ Hunt Classic is geared towards funding full scholarships for two grade 8 students from Kingston College and Calabar High school. Hunt was a KC past student and at the time of his death 10 years ago, was the coach of Calabar.
