Kerron Stewart wins 100 meters at IAAF - Berlin

Kerron Stewart clocked 11.25 seconds to win the women's 100 meters, the lone Jamaican triumph at the IAAF world challenge meet in Berlin Germany on Sunday.

The Commonwealth bronze medallist nipped American Joana Atkins who placed second in 11.26 with fellow Jamaican Schillonie Calvert, ending 4th in 11.32.

In the field commonwealth champion O'dayne Richards had to settle for 4th in the men's shot putt.

He threw 20.72 meters as Germany's David Storl won with 21.41 meters.
