Kevin Williams sacked as Dinthill's football coach

Report by RJR Group Sports Reporter Renardo Brown

RJR Sports has been reliably informed that Kevin Williams has been sacked as the head coach of Dinthill Technical and the man dubbed the 'Special One', Geoffrey Maxwell is high on their agenda as a possible replacement for the remainder of the ISSA Flow DaCosta Cup season.

It’s believed Williams and Manager Andre Hinds got into a confrontation following Dinthill's exit from the Flow Super Cup on Friday after losing 1-0 to Bridgeport.

According to Williams, he was made aware that Hinds had been seizing the gear of the players following the game, something he didn't agree with. However for Hinds, this was not what led to Williams' sacking, but it did help.

Meanwhile, key management staff at Haile Selassie were seemingly unaware of Maxwell's exit when contacted by RJR Sports on Tuesday.

Dinthill Technical who won the DaCosta cup in 1979 and 1981, has found titles hard to come by with last year being their first trip to a final since. Williams the seventh coach to be sacked in the last three years by Dinthill Technical.
