KSAFA boss confirms he's stepping down

Ambassador Stewart Stephenson has confirmed reports by RJR Sports on Wednesday that he will be stepping down as president of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA). The official announcement was made by Ambassador Stephenson at a press conference on Thursday.

Stephenson says financial considerations played the largest part in his decision to resign. General Secretary Wayne Shaw has received the blessing of Stephenson as the man to lead the association. Shaw who has served as general secretary for the past two-and-a-half years, says he is ready for the challenge.

Stephenson's resignation becomes effective on January 20.
