The Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) will be going to the polls soon to elect a new president.
RJR Sports understands that current head, Ambassador Stewart Stephenson will step down, two and a half years into his third term.
It is understood that Stephenson will officially announce his departure on Thursday for what is being described as personal reasons. Stephenson first took office in 1996 and has spent almost eleven years as president over his three stints.
RJR Sports further understands that General Secretary Wayne Shaw will be a leading contender to take over the top job.
Former president Rudolph Spied who Stephenson replaced after a hotly contested election in 2014, may also put his hat in the ring.
