KSAFA fallout over JFF presidential race

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Jordan Forte

The decision by KSAFA to nominate Stewart Stephenson as JFF presidential candidate has caused a rift among members of the association with vice-president Carvel Stewart handing in his resignation.

It's understood that when Stephenson was KSAFA president, the executive agreed that it would throw its support behind Clarendon FA president Michael Ricketts if and when he decided to enter the JFF presidential race.

However, with Stephenson now deciding to contest the September 16 election, KSAFA has made a u-turn in deciding to support Stephenson.
