World sprint hurdles record holder Aries Merritt of the United States and Rio Olympics 400m champion Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas headline the list of international stars confirmed so far for the third staging of the JN Racers Grand Prix set for Saturday, June 9 at the National Stadium.
Other overseas stars already confirmed are reigning world 100 metres champion Tori Bowie of the United States and Kelly-Ann Baptiste of Trinidad and Tobago. The local contingent will be led by Yohan Blake, Hansle Parchment, Demish Gaye and Kemar Bailey-Cole on the men's side while the list of local female stars include Commonwealth Games champions Janieve Russell and Daniel Thomas-Dodd along with Shericka Jackson, Ristanana Tracey and Natoya Goule.
President of Racers Track Club and Chairman of the Organizing Committee Glen Mills says numerous world stars have been making enquiries about competing at the meet. This year's Racers Grand Prix programme will have six international events for men and seven for women in addition to 4 Olympic Development races. The three hour meet will start at 6:00 pm.
