Lyn looks set to dethrone Lamey for ASAJ presidency

With its Annual General Meeting (AGM) less than two weeks away, the Amateur Swimming Association of Jamaica (ASAJ) could find themselves with a new president as one official believes the writing is on the wall for incumbent Handel Lamey.

Joseph Reynolds, a member of Swimaz Aquatic says the majority of the voters are backing former president Martin Lyn.

Reynolds says the majority of the stakeholders in the sport are worried about the direction in which the association is going. Lamey defeated Lyn 22-20 at the last AGM in December 2015.
